Pirates travel to face tough test in rested Titans

After scoring an average 60 points against their last two opponents, Livingston and Baytown Lee, the Pirates will face the best defense in District 22-5A this Friday when they take on the Port Arthur Memorial Titans on their home turf. And, the Port Arthur team is coming off its bye week which allowed extra time to prepare for Vidor’s Slot T offense.

Memorial has only surrendered 96 points this season while scoring 276. That’s the best record in 22-5A for points allowed. The Titans also lead the district in yardage allowed per game, a stingy 181.6 yards.
