Vidor Pirates … A return to normalcy

When the football practice began in August, little did anyone know what this year would hold in store for the city of Vidor. People were making plans for the future. Houses were being built. People were working their jobs taking care of their families. Children were preparing to start back to school.


Life was good in Vidor, Texas. Neighbors helped neighbors. Churches were busy with activities and praising God. Labor Day weekend was just around the corner. Football season would soon begin. Plans were being made to celebrate on the lake, with a barbque, with family. Life was busy. Things were normal.
