Student reassignment plan “not a perfect plan”

With two Vidor I.S.D. school campuses suffering serious damages in the floods of Hurricane Harvey, school district administrators, principals and staff have been hard at work finding a “work-around” that will get Vidor kids back in school quickly. Both Oak Forest Elementary School and Vidor Middle School, whose combined student population at the end of the spring term was 1,440 students, are effectively unsafe to educate school children of western Orange County.
