Sea-run speckled trout, finally

For two months, I have been wanting to fish the Sabine Pass jetties and the beach front. I actually drove the boat out there three times in hope of finding fishable conditions but it was a waste of gas all three times. Rough dirty water and high winds have conspired to make that an impossibility. Knowing that sea run speckled trout are out there does no good when you can’t get to them. Every year those nice trout show up from wherever they come from (No one seems to know) and they cruise down the beach and off shore.
