BY Joy Graham

This Friday, Aug.5 racers and fans will combine forces to raise funds for a local dirt track legend, Buddy Bodden. Always a fan favorite, Bodden began racing in 1976. He competed in street stocks, skinny cars and sprint cars until 1995.. At the present he is in the race of his life against cancer. Owner of GTRP, Glen Johnson and wife Vicky have vowed to match the 50/50 money collected in the stands during this week’s race as their donation to the fund raiser.
