Fickle fish fairly flopped in that fair day out

It was almost nine a.m. and we only had three or four speckled trout in the cooler. The sun was well up and there was almost no wind. The tide which was already low had bottomed out and what little current there had been was almost gone. The coffee colored water in Sabine Lake was clear enough to look down and see the stainless prop. That is clear for Sabine lake and is much desired for good fishing.
