Speck fishing good, if you know where to find them

The tide rose and the tide receded but the current was goining toward the Gulf of Mexico for twenty-four hours a day. The water level would rise at the time of high tide but the current just kept going south only slightly slower. I have not witnessed this very many times in my life. It is a phenomenon that occurs in Sabine Lake when both the Neches and Sabine Rivers are rolling at flood stage. This situation presents anglers with some of the toughest inshore fishing they will ever experience at Sabine Lake.
