Election lessons learned from the British

As America stumbles blindly through another dismal campaign season, it's educational to watch the British engage in a general election. OK, we fought a war with the Mother Country, 1776 and allthat. Still, we learned a lot of valuable stuff from Great Britain: common law, trial by jury, freedom of speech and so on. Perhaps the Brits have more to teach us
