Can Walker go from Wisconsin to White House?

In a Quinnipiac poll released Thursday, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was the leading choice of Republican voters to be their 2016 presidential nominee. That is quite the surge for Gov. Walker, who was buoyed, no doubt, by his recent boffo appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference. The Wisconsin governor and as-yet undeclared presidential candidate is perhaps bestknown for taking on the Badger State’s powerful public employee unions in 2011. That garnered national attention for drawing more than 100,000 protesters to the state Capitol in Madison.
