Perfect Sunday weather brought many outdoors to enjoy

On a short trip over to Orangefield Sunday I noted a number of people working in their yards. The bright sunshine and slightly warmer weather likely brought them out. I’ve been told that the true signal of spring, the “putting out” of hickory and pecan trees, has not occurred. For added emphasis, I noted that it had thundered three times in February and this was sure to bring frost or a cold snap in April.
