Charles Michael Bubba LaRocca, 42, of Lumberton, died Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was a native of Beaumont, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. He worked as a Senior Officer Specialist at the Federal Correctional Institution, Beaumont-Federal Bureau of Prisons for many years, and retired in 2014. His funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Broussard’s, Beaumont, with his interment following at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont. He is survived by his wife, Christie LaRocca; sons, Brenden LaRocca, of Beaumont, and Noah LaRocca and Kaleb Mitchell, both of Lumberton; daughters, Danielle Reeves, of Village Mills, Kenedie King, of Mauriceville, and Charlie LaRocca, of Beaumont; two grandsons; father, Charles LaRocca and his wife, Leann, of Beaumont; and sisters, Brandi Hernandez, of Lumberton and Nicki LaRocca, of Beaumont. Memorial contributions may be made to Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, 8330 Ward Parkway, Suite 510, Kansas City, Missouri 64114.
