Twenty-eight years of public service is not easy to pack away

There were empty boxes on the floor and others half filled on a table and some chairs in the office. Some of the bookshelves in the office were already vacant while others still held awards and memorabilia from a lifetime of helping others. “There’s a lot of packing to do and I’ve been at it off and on for days,” said Orange County Judge Carl Thibodeaux as he sat at his desk for an interview before his retirement from public office.“You should see my conference room next door,” said the Judge its full of boxes ready to be moved.”
