JOSEPHINE GRAHAM TAYLOR AUGUST 27, 1938 — JUNE 16, 2025

Josephine Graham Taylor, born August 27, 1938, at home in Rose City, Texas, entered the loving arms of Jesus on Monday evening, June 16, 2025, at her home in Hemphill. A proud lifelong resident of Vidor, Jo was known for her strength, vibrant spirit, contagious smile, and joyful laugh that could fill any room. She touched countless lives with her generous heart, unwavering faith, and passion for life. A devoted servant of God, Jo used her beautiful voice to sing in churches, prison ministries, and even around campfires—highlighted by the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall. At just 16, she wrote the Vidor High School Fight Song, still sung 70 years later. She is survived by her children: Doug and Debra Taylor of Vidor, Cathy and Ronnie Cozart of Vidor, and Pamela Adams of Hemphill; 3 grandsons; and 2 great-granddaughters
