Linda Jean Evans, 76, of Vidor, passed away on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care. Whether she was helping with church functions, offering a listening ear, or simply lending a hand wherever it was needed, Linda lived to give—always putting others before herself. She had a deep love for reading, but her greatest joy came from doing things for the people she loved. Her generous spirit, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Linda is survived by the father of her children, Danny Evans of Vidor, TX; her children, Jennifer Evans and Chris Evans, both of Vidor, TX, and Tiffini Croak of Sour Lake, TX; her siblings, Odis Bryan of Alto, TX, Sylvia Havard of Lufkin, TX, Marsha Witcher of Longview, TX, and Kathy Sutton of Tomball, TX; and her 3 beloved grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
