Transmission shop receives heavy damage in Tuesday fire
Billowing clouds of smoke pour from the C and R Transmission shop on Garland Street Tuesday after a lithium ion battery caught fire and spread through the building.
A lithium ion battery is blamed for a fire Tuesday at C&R Transmission, located at 135 Garland Street. The building and several customer vehicles were heavily damaged or destroyed.
