Jimmie “Jim” Don Haley, 76, of Vidor, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, Texas. Born in Mexia, Texas, Jim was a longtime resident of Vidor. Jim was a dedicated member of Faith Baptist Church and lived a life of faith and service. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, a testament to his bravery and dedication. In addition to his military service, Jim was an active member of the Masonic Pine Forest Lodge #1420, the El Mina Shriners in Galveston, Texas, and the Cashan Grotto in Beaumont, Texas. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Beverly Haley of Vidor, Texas; his daughter Lindsey Sudela of Vidor, Texas; his sisters PJ Haley of Orange, Texas, Renee` Smith of Orange, Texas, and Roslyn Haley of San Antonio, Texas. He also leaves behind two cherished granddaughters.
