Vidor Police Chief Rod Carroll said that his department is expecting to wrap up an investigation this week into an incident involving Orange County Precinct 4 Constable Matt Ortego after Ortego’s ex-wife called Vidor Police Dispatch at about 1:05 a.m. on Sunday, November 26th and said their daughter called her crying, saying Ortego threatened to shoot her and other kids in the home.
