Shirley Beatrice Godeaux, age 85, passed away on Sunday, November 5th, 2023, in the comfort of her Vidor residence. A proud native of Beaumont, Texas, Shirley had made Vidor her home for many years. She brought a dash of humor and joy to every room she entered. One of Shirley’s favorite pastimes was her weekly games of Domino’s with her dear friends, and she had a knack for making every gathering a joyous occasion. She also had a love for fishing, finding peace by the water’s edge, and perhaps sharing a fishing story or two. Shirley is survived by her beloved son, Harry Godeaux of Vidor, Texas. She is also survived by eight adoring grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense happiness and pride to her life.
