Otis “Buster” Shirley, passed away on Monday, October 23rd, 2023, at the age of 89. He spent his final days at Vidor Health and Rehab. Buster was a deacon for Pine Forest Church. He was a Pipeline Foreman at Winnie Welding Works. Buster also proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a passionate gardener. Buster Shirley is survived by his loving sons Brad Shirley of Milam, Texas, Steve Shirley of Broaddus, Texas, David Shirley of Vidor, Texas. He is also survived by his sister- in-law, Betty Shirley, of Vaiden, Mississippi, and 12 cherished grandchildren and14 great-grandchildren, a testament to the love and legacy he leaves behind. Buster Shirley’s legacy of hard work, dedication, and the joy he found in tending to his garden will live on through the family he leaves behind. His kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
