Sales tax allocations increase for most in county

    June sales tax allocations were mostly up in Orange County with Vidor and Pine Forest the only municipalities recording a monthly decline compared to June 2020. Vidor’s June 2021 allocation dropped by almost $10,000 , or 3.34 percent compared to last year’s $288,440 while Pine Forest recorded a negligible .97 percent drop to $14,113 in June 2021.
