The Vidor Lady Pirates took part in the East Chambers Holiday Classic Thursday-Saturday and came away with a Second Place finish and trophy in the Silver Bracket. Vidor defeated Evadale and Jasper and were defeated by Woodville, LCM and Reeves, Louisiana.

The Vidor Pirates got another district win in Bridge City Friday after they overcame a double digit deficit in the fourth period to send the game into overtime. The Pirates outshot the Cards for 68-59 win. Bryce Loftin lead the Pirates with 20 points, Eric Baker 15 and Jose Guerrero-Evans 11.
