Kids Say the Darndest Things A Polk County game warden received a call from county dispatch regarding a father and his 9-yearold son who had gotten stuck in their buggy deep in a deer lease. They attempted to walk back to their camp and got lost in the process.

Vidor hosts World Checkers Championship

Once again, Vidor, Texas leads the way in being the Checkers Capitol of the World and will host the USA Open World Championship this week July 8-10, 2021. The tournament is open to all comers. The total prize money will be $11,500. There will be three divisions.

VHS Cheer squads returned from recent camps with many awards
