Lady Pirate soccer makes playoffs for 13th consecutive year

The Vidor Lady Pirate varsity soccer team secured a playoff spot for the 13th consecutive year Tuesday at Pirate Stadium with a 4-0 win over the Bridge City Lady Cardinals to secure 4th place in district and a layoff spot.

Pirates dominate PAM 16-1 in baseball

The varsity Vidor Pirates’ 4 run first inning against the Memorial Titans in Port Arthur Tuesday sparked a 16-1 blowout win. Brody Atwood’s homer to left field drove in Austin Cadroy and two more runs gave the Pirates a 4 run lead after one.

Late errors scuttle Lady Pirates in 5-2 loss to HF

Scoreless for three innings, the varsity Vidor Lady Pirates jumped out to a 2-0 lead over Hamshire –Fannett Tuesday in Vidor in the top of the fourth inning. The lead was short lived however as two errors helped the Lady Horns take a 5-2 lead in the bottom half of the inning.

Garrett’s bat helps Vidor top West Brook 19-8

Lady Pirate slugger Andreya Garrett had three hits and four RBIs in Tuesday varsity softball game versus Beaumont West Brook and helped the Lady Pirates to a 19-8 win. Vidor broke a 3-3 tie in the top of the second inning to go ahead for good when they scored another three runs.

Lady Pirates 0-4-2 in PNG softball tournament

The varsity Lady Pirate softball team travelled to Port Neches last week to participate in the PNG softball tournament Thursday-Saturday.
