Vidor Cross Country teams advance to Regionals

The UIL District 10-4A District Track Meet was held Thursday at Claiborne West Park with both the Vidor Pirate and Lady Pirate teams winning third place to advance to the Regional Meet in Huntsville. Congratulations to the Pirate Cross Country Teams.

Pirates defend district title with 36-29 win over Bears

After a rocky 0-3 start to the 2022 season, the Pirates are now 3-3, opening district play with a convincing 36-29 win over the Little Cypress Bears Friday night at Pirate Stadium. “It was a great win for our kids,” said Vidor Head Coach and Athletic Director Jeff Mathews.

Lady Pirate volleyball in 4th place with 5-3 in district record

With back-to-back wins over West Orange Stark and Silsbee, the Vidor Lady Pirates are now 5-3 in district and in 4th place with four games remaining. Vidor traveled to WOS to start off the second round of district play October 4 and won in 3 sets to improve to 4-3 in district.
