Vidor girls and boys soccer bi-district playoff games are set for Monday at Beaumont’s Memorial Stadium aka “The Butch”. The Lady Pirates play first at 5 p.m. versus Hamshire Fannett and the Pirates follow at 7 p.m. with their match against Liberty.

ATHENS – Stetson Davis, an 11-year-old angler from Tuttle, Okla., landed 13.31pound ShareLunker 661 on Wednesday, topping the junior angler waterbody record for largemouth bass by more than five pounds. This marked the second Legacy Class ShareLunker largemouth bass delivered by J.B.

They went 1-1 Saturday with a win over Orangefield. and lost to Cleveland. Sophia Aguirre has a solo HR versus Cleveland and are now 15-5-1 as they open district play versus WOS Tuesday.

The Vidor Lady Pirates scored 19 runs on 18 hits in five innings to open district play in grand fashion Tuesday in Orange. The Lady Pirates had one error. The Lady Mustangs had three hits and committed 4 errors. Keira McCurley was the winning pitcher, striking out 8 and walking one in the win.

The Vidor Lady Pirate Soccer continues its record breaking season sweeping Bridge City Friday night at Pirate Stadium. The JV team won their game 2-0. Paislee Miller scored the first goal of the game and then assisted Claire Guidry for the second goal of the match.
