Pirate Cross Country competes at Regional Meet

The Pirate Cross Country team completed their season with an 18 placed finish in the Regional 3 Meet held in Huntsville, Texas on Monday. This marks the 3rd consecutive year the Boys have sent a team to the Regional Meet. Region 3 comprises 8 districts and 56 schools.

The Vidor Pirates, (1-5, 0-3),are still looking for their first district win after Friday’s 65-38 loss at home to the Hargrave Falcons, (6-0,3-0).

Lady Pirates fall to Silsbee Lady Tigers

Pirate Gym was the scene of a hard fought battle Tuesday night as the Lady Pirates battled to claim the fourth spot in district and secure a playoff spot. In the end, the home teal fell short, losing in four, 17-25, 26-24, 22-25 and 24-26.

Pirates face undefeated Huffman-Hargrave Falcons Friday

For the second consecutive week the Vidor Pirates (1-4) will face an undefeated team in the Hargrave Falcons (5-0). Vidor is coming off a 49-20 defeat at the hands of the undefeated Bridge City Cardinals (5-0) while the Falcons defeated Lumberton Raiders 38-7 Friday.

The Vidor Lady Pirates volleyball team traveled to Bridge City Friday where they were swept by the Lady Cardinals 3-0, marking the third straight district loss with the final score of 25-21, 25-7, 25-18.The loss dropped their record to 9-12. Vidor will face West Orange-Stark at 6:30 p.m.

Pirates fall to Cardinals 49-20 for third consecutive loss

The Vidor Pirates traveled to Bridge City Friday to take on the undefeated Cardinals and came away with their third straight loss as the Cardinals record remained unblemished at 5-0.
The Vidor Pirate Team Tennis continues to set records in 2024 with the school’s strong performance against the Livingston Lions, securing the first Bi-District Championship in the program’s history. LCM sweeps Lady Pirates Friday

The Lady Pirates hosted the LCM Lady Bears Friday in a district match and lost in three 19-25, 17-25, 18-25. The JV and Freshman teams lost in 2. Tuesday, the Lady Pirates traveled to Silsbee, losing in five, 20-25, 22-25, 25-20, 26-24, 13-15 .and Friday they will play at Bridge City.
