The varsity Vidor Pirate baseball team were narrowly defeated Tuesday when a late score by LCM quashed their hopes for a win after having led for most of the game.
The Pirates got on the board in the bottom of the second inning when Cameron McCoy singled and subsequent singles by Tanner Hunt, Ty Vincent and Tyler Gray moved McCoy along the baseline to score.
