The varsity boys basketball lost a close game at bridge City Tuesday 43-40. The Pirates led 13-9 after one period but Bridge City she their way into a 25-25 tie by the half. It was tit for tat in the third period with a 35-35 tie entering the final period with Bridge City eking out a three point win 43-40 at the final buzzer.
