Ray Long, 87 of Beaumont died Saturday, September 24th, 2022 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Grayson County, Texas, he was a longtime resident of Vidor, before moving to Beaumont 3 years ago. He served his country in the U.S.

Leray Joseph LaFleur, 83, of Beaumont died Sunday, September 11th, 2022 at Calder Woods in Beaumont, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Vidor, but had lived in Beaumont for the last year and a half.

James Council Mercer, 95, of Vidor, Texas died September 13, 2022 at his home in Vidor, Texas surrounded by many of his loving family. Jim was born on July 14, 1927 in Elysian Fields, Texas to Ex Brock Mercer and Lizzie Bell Woodley Mercer. He was the fourth of eight children.

Shirley Evon Fogarty, 83, of Vidor, Texas died Wednesday, September 14th, 2022 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of The Source of Old Faith Baptist Church. Shirley was a devoted homemaker and loved to paint and crotchet.

Vicky L. Greer, 70 of Bridge City died Friday, September 16th, 2022 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Tyler, Texas, she was raised in Vidor, before moving to Bridge City 10 years ago. Vicky was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church and was retired.

G.R. 'Gabe' Jones, 90, of Vidor, Texas died Friday, September 16th, 2022 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and had retired from being an Operator at Mobil Oil. Gabe served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

Nichole Annette Gould (Nikki), 74 of Vidor, peacefully passed from this life Saturday, September 17, 2022, at her home surrounded by family. She was a resident of Vidor, TX, but was able to enjoy 8 years of retirement with her husband at their ranch in Goldthwaite, TX until his passing.
