He was born on March 9, 1941, to Harvey Radnor Eanes and Elizabeth Jane Tinsley Eanes in Haynesville, Louisiana. He was a graduate of Haynesville High School, Kilgore College, Centenary College, and received his master’s degree in history from Lamar University.

Jim E. Kibodeaux, 59 of Colmesniel died Saturday, December 10th, 2022 in Omaha, Nebraska. A native of Beaumont, he was a longtime resident of Vidor and Colmesniel. Jim was a member of Turning Point Church in Vidor and was a safety man for 20+ years.

Kyle Brandon Stephenson, 53 of Houston died Sunday, December 11th, 2022 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, he was a longtime resident of Houston. Kyle was raised in Vidor and graduated from Vidor High School in 1987. He was the Ceo of Goliath Industries in Houston.

Dale Erwin Baxter Sr, 70 of Vidor died Thursday, December 8th, 2022 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, he was longtime resident of Vidor. Dale was a member of Maplecrest Baptist Church in Vidor and was a retired property manager for Capital One Banking.

Sally Mae Runnels infant baby girl of Ryan and Emily Runnels was born and passed Friday, December 9th, 2022 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 18th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Rice Belt Cemetery in Devers, TX.

Derek 'Todd' Williams Sr., 53, of Vidor died Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. He was a lifelong resident of Vidor. He hauled scrap loads and worked with machines. He loved his kids and grandkids and his friends, and getting to spend time with them.

Janie Laurine Brown, 64, of Vidor died Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Katy, Tx. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor.

Lori Ann Claiborne, 55, of Houston, died November 18th, 2022. She graduated from Vidor High School but lived in Houston after. She was a member of Hope City Church in Houston. She loved cooking and was an avid Santa Claus collector.

Jo Ann Manning, 81, of Vidor, died Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor and member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor.

Edna May Knight, 75, of Vidor, died Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and member of Bridge City Baptist Church.
