Ruth Williams, 96, of Vidor, Texas died Thursday, January 19th, 2023 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor and a member of First Baptist Church in Vidor. Ruth was a loving homemaker and enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.

Billy “Bill” Lynne Stephenson, 87, of Vidor died Thursday, January 19th, 2023 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. He retired from being a Lab Tech for DuPont Sabine Works in Orange, Texas after 30+ years.

Wanda Arrington Godeaux, 100, of Vidor, died Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 at her home. She is a lifelong resident of Vidor. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. In World War II, she was a real life 'Rosie the Riveter'.

Jory Wallace Odom, 47, of Vidor died Saturday, December 31, 2022. Jory was born in Washington D.C. on November 13, 1975. He lived in many locations across the U.S. during his childhood. He graduated from Savoy High School in Texas in 1994.

Mary was born in Orange County Texas, 19 October 1924 and passed away the 12th of January 2023 in Vidor, Texas. She was the 10th child of her mother Sina Cole Thompson Briley. She loved handwork, gardening, genealogy, and indexing public records for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Katherine Ann Oakes, 79, of Vidor, died Thursday, January 12th, 2023 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. She was a longtime resident of Vidor. She was a devout Christian, who loved Jesus and member of First Baptist Church in Vidor.

JOHN 'JOHNNY' RONALD COLLINS SR

JOHN 'JOHNNY' RONALD COLLINS SR. John 'Johnny' Ronald Collins Sr., 69 of Vidor died Monday, January 9th, 2023 at his residence. He was a native and longtime resident of Orange. Johnny was a senior superintendent for Plastocor inc. for 39 years.

TOYAANNETTE SWEARINGEN

Toya Annette Swearingen, 69, of Vidor, died Tuesday, January 10th, 2023, at her home. She was born and raised in Port Arthur but is a longtime resident of Vidor. She served her country with the U.S. Army as a nurse during Vietnam and was also received her sharpshooter award.

Marshall Ray Bronson, 54, of Vidor, died Sunday, January 8th, 2023 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and a jack of all trades. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
