Linda Gail Hollis, a longtime resident of Vidor, passed away at her home on April 20, 2023, at the age of 75. She was born on November 22, 1947, to Kendrieth and Audie Marshall. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, sister Wanda Gillis, brother Joel Marshall and grandson Blake Guidry.

Ka ren “ Lynne” Dyson, 65, of Lumberton, TX passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 11, 2023. Lynne is survived by two daughters, Nicole Clayton of Vidor, TX. Crystal Shafer of Vidor, TX. Five grandchildren, and her favorite sister, Carol Smith of Vidor, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elmo Peveto, 65, a longtime resident of Vidor, passed away on April 3, 2023, at his home. He was a man who loved the outdoors, spending much of his time fishing and hunting. Elmo also had a passion for tools and building trucks and motorcycles.

John Edward Jackson was born on August 19,1930 to Arti Mae Jackson Whitaker and Edward Osteen Jackson. John was born on his family homestead off of Osteen Street in Vidor, Texas. He grew up to share this same piece of land with his wife and children.
