Jeff-Free Lynn Hoke was born December 17, 1989, in Port Arthur, Texas to Carol Hoke and Charles Goodwin. He passed away from this life on July 18, 2023, in Orange, Texas, at the age of 33.

John 'Johnny' Owens, of Mauriceville, passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on July 10, 2023. Born in Port Arthur, TX and raised in Bridge City, TX, Johnny was a longtime resident of Orange County. He was a skilled cabinet maker by trade. Johnny was an avid golfer.

MICHAEL TRAVIS POWELL

Michael Travis Powell, a beloved resident of Vidor, passed away on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was 52 years old. Michael was a dedicated family man, a lover of the outdoors, and a skilled handyman.

GILBERT 'WAYNE' CHARBONEAU SR.

Gilbert 'Wayne' Charboneau, Sr. died July 11th, 2023 in Beaumont, Texas, at the age of 91. He was born to Edwin and Stella Charboneau on February 23, 1932. Following his high school graduation, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy and served during the Korean War.

Richard Quinton Davis, 50, of New Orleans, LA, formerly of Vidor, died June 21. He is survived by his parents James L. Davis Jr and Margie Neal Davis, daughters, Nautica and Kyiah of Kountze, stepmother Ramona Davis of Warren, brother James L. Davis III and wife Robin of Round Rock, sisters Honey C.

MILDRED 'MARY' ESTA MCBRIDE

Mildred 'Mary' Esta McBride, 80 of Jasper died Tuesday, July 4th, 2023 at her residence. A native of St. Augustine, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Dallas and then onto Jasper. She was a cashier and was raised as a Baptist. Mary enjoyed crossword puzzles and coloring.

OPAL 'JEAN' BLANCHE LYONS

Opal 'Jean' Blanche Lyons, 99, of Vidor died Friday, July 7th, 2023, at her residence. Opal was born August 7, 1923 in Beaumont, TX to Chattie and Albert Crane. Opal married Robert Lyons November 14, 1946 and they had four children, Jimmy, Donna, Karen and Sharon.

Diane Myers, 69,of Orange died Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 at Focused Care at Orange in Orange, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Orange and a member of Legion of Mary St. Henry Catholic Church. Diane was a former Security Officer for Chevron Chemicals in Orange as well.
