Dorothy Carolyn Spell, 72, of Vidor, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 15th, 2023, at her home. She was a longtime resident of Vidor; she was a devoted homemaker and a beloved member of the community.

Linda Gail Corley, 65, of Vidor, passed away on Thursday, December 14th, 2023, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. Linda, a dedicated member of the community, was a beloved resident of Vidor.

CHERYL DARLENE GRASS

Cheryl Darlene Grass, 80, of Evadale, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023, at Silsbee Oaks Healthcare. She was a beloved and longtime resident of Evadale Cheryl was a devoted member of Central Baptist Church in Evadale and found joy in her role as a homemaker.

AIDAN SETH MONTONDON

Aidan Seth Montondon, 21, of Vidor, passed away on Monday, December 11th, 2023. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, he was a longtime resident of the area but had called Vidor home for the past year. One of Aidan’s greatest pleasures in life was spending time with his younger siblings.

MARY PAULINE DICKSON

Mary Pauline Dickson, 78 of Vidor died Saturday, December 9th, 2023, at her residence. A native of Clarendon, Arkansas, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. In loving memory of the best wife, loving sister, aunt, and caring friend to all she met. Mary was a good friend to everyone.

MICHELLE ANN TRAHAN

Michelle Ann Trahan, 55 of Buna died Friday, December 8th, 2023, at her residence. A native of Orange, Texas, she was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Buna 13 years ago. Her favorite past times were painting and drawing.

KRISTINA “KRIS” KARYL KORMAN

Kristina “Kris” Karyl Korman, 51 of Vidor died Friday, December 8th, 2023, at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor. She worked for a long time as a CNA during her life. She loved to listen to music. Caring for people came naturally to her and she took great joy in doing so.

FLOYD ALBERT WILLIFORD

Floyd Albert Williford, aged 81, passed away on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023, at Focused Care at Orange Nursing Home. Floyd was a native of Vidor and a longtime resident of the community before making his home in Deweyville and, finally, Kirbyville. Floyd was a true outdoorsman at heart.

JUDY CAROL MARIE

Judy Carol Marie, 62, of Vidor died Friday, December 1st, 2023, at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Judy lived for her kids and grandkids, they meant the world to her. She never showed up for visits with them empty handed and loved spending quality time with them.

JERRY WAYNE MATHUES

Jerry Wayne Mathues, age 75, a longtime resident of Vidor, passed away on Friday, December 1st, 2023, at his home. He was a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Vidor. Jerry retired from Mobil Oil after dedicating many years to his career.
