Barbara “Babs” Gail Hornbuckle, 64, of Vidor, died Friday, November 13th, 2020 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and worked with her own ceramic company and cooked for business and also to hand them out to people. She loved spoiling her grandchildren.

Rose Laverne Baxter, 78, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on November 10, 2020, in Beaumont, Texas. Born in Beaumont, Texas, on September 23, 1942, she was the daughter of Riley Leroy Nash and Laverna (Eves) Nash. Rose was a sweet, spunky, and funny woman who had a heart of gold.

Jack Emmett Croom

Jack E. Croom, 80 of Vidor died Saturday, November 14th, 2020 at his residence. A native of Batson, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Jack graduated high school in 1958 and joined the U.S. Army and serving from 1958 - 1961. He was a plant operator for Bayer in Orange where he retired in 1999.

Lou Ann Haught

Lou Ann Haught, 76, died Sunday, November 15, 2020, in a Beaumont, Texas hospital. She was a native of New Iberia, Louisiana and had been a resident of Sulphur, Louisiana for many years before moving to Vidor, Texas.

Max Edmon Glenn, 66, of Vidor, passed away on October 30, 2020 in Vidor. Max was born on August 26, 1954 in Beaumont, Texas to Carroll and Maxine Glenn. He graduated from Southpark High School in Beaumont in 1973.

Rusty Truscott, 52 of Vidor died Sunday, November 15th, 2020 at his residence. A native of Ft. Worth, Texas, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Rusty was a member of Turning Point Church in Vidor and was Vice President of Nance Int. where he worked for 34 years.

Virgil M. Downs, Sr.

Virgil M. Downs, Sr., 67, of Vidor, died Friday, November 13, 2020. He was born on February 15, 1953, in Beaumont, to W.J. Downs, Sr. and Bessie Voight. Virgil was a third-generation plumber.

Glen "Preacher" Thomas Payne

Glen T. Payne, 64 of Kirbyville, Texas died Friday, October 30th, 2020 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of New Orleans, LA, he was a longtime residence of Kirbyville. Glen served his country in the U.S. Army.

Jerry Donald Lacouture

Jerry Donald Lacouture, longtime resident of Vidor left us to go home on October 17th. He is preceded in death by his father Roy Lacouture and his mother Lehurl Babin. He loves his only brother Ducky (Darrell) nephews and niece.
