John Doyle "J.D." Johnson, 59, of Vidor, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at his home in Vidor. He was a longtime member of Vidor but grew up in Lumberton. He worked for the City of Vidor and Orange County Water District for numerous years.

Debbie Mercer, 62 of Beaumont died Friday, December 11th, 2020 at Jefferson Nursing and Rehab in Beaumont. She was a native and longtime resident of Beaumont. Debbie enjoyed playing Bingo at the Elk’s Lodge in Beaumont, listening to Elvis Presley and collecting owls.

Barney Lymoin Crosby, age 74, passed away December 1, 2020 in Kingman, Arizona. Formerly of southeast Texas, Barney was born to the late James Arthur Crosby and Reda Mae Hite in Silsbee, Texas. He was one of 15 children, including 3 sets of twins, all but four of those have gone on before him now.

Tommy Hopper, 58 of Vidor died Thursday, December 10th, 2020 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, Texas, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Tommy was retired from the Carpenters Local Union #502 after 30+ years. He was a an avid Dallas Cowboy and Led Zeppelin fan.
