Lynda “Darlene” Leach, 76, of Vidor, passed away on Thursday, April 10th, 2025, at Vidor Health and Rehab Center. A native of Beaumont, Texas, and a longtime resident of Vidor, Darlene spent her life pouring love, music, and laughter into the lives of others. She retired after many years of dedicated service as a music teacher at Little Cypress-Mauriceville Elementary School, where she inspired generations of students to find their voice and joy through music. She was a proud member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association and carried her passion for education and creativity long after the school bell rang for the last time. She is survived by her loving children, Jamie Holmes of Hamshire, TX; her devoted mother, Eula Mae Bowers; her sister, Katie Bowers of Lumberton, TX; and seven beloved grandchildren.
