Joseph “Joe” Robert Wingerson Jr., 82, of Vidor, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 31st, 2025, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Joe made Vidor his longtime home, where he was a beloved member of Turning Point Church and a fixture in his community. Above all, Joe cherished his family. He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Patricia Wingerson of Vidor, TX; children Stephen Wingerson and wife Kim of Spring, TX; Michael Wingerson of Vidor, TX; and Jolie Johnson and husband Bryan of Orangefield, TX. Joe is also survived by his brothers, Dan Wingerson of Royse City, TX, and Tom Wingerson of Highland Village, TX; and his sister Molindia Henson of Newton, TX. His legacy continues through his 4 cherished grandchildren, along with two adopted grandchildren.
