Clarice Iona Armstrong, 95, of Vidor, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30th, 2024, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Clarice was a longtime resident of Vidor and a cherished member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she was very active in her faith and community. Clarice found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She loved reading, solving crossword puzzles, and the lively rhythm of square dancing. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her newest great-great-grandchild, who brought her immense pride and joy. She is survived by her children: Wally James of Houston, TX; Rose Hairston of Nederland, TX; and Andy Lynch of Vidor, TX; along with her son-in-law, John Davis of Mauriceville, TX. Her legacy of love continues through her 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
