Barbara "Bobbie Ann" Johns, 85, of Vidor passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Grafton, West Virginia, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. She enjoyed hunting, going fishing, and raising horses. She also took an interest in her genealogy. She loved traveling as well. Barbara was a member of Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church. Her best friend was Ms. Mary Ann Johnson of Vidor, TX.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation Friday , November 26th, 2021 at 6:00 PM with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 27th, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Barbara is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" Johns of Vidor, Texas, her children, William "Bill" Kunst and wife Clare Fowler of Corpus Christi, Robert "Bob" F. Kunst of California, Cathy Kennedy and husband Mike, of Virginia, And Michael Kunst and wife Jill of Orange, Texas, her stepchildren, Kathy Pullig and husband Sam of San Antonio, Texas, Richard Johns and wife Gina of Vidor, Texas, Kim Dyess of Sugarland, Texas, Dr. Roger Johns and Gable Stevenson of San Antonio, Texas, and Ryan Johns and wife Juliann of Vidor, Texas, her sisters Sandra Martin of Massachusetts and Mary Lou Knotts of West Virginia, as well as fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
