JOSEPH CLIFTON MOORE JANUARY 4, 1937 — MAY 2, 2025
Joseph Clifton Moore, 88, of Vidor, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 2nd, 2025. A longtime resident of Vidor, Joseph proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force as an airplane mechanic. After his military service, he dedicated 35 years to Valero, where he retired as a supervisor. He loved the outdoors and could often be found deer hunting, boat riding, fishing, or camping— any excuse to be near a lake or in the woods. He was a wonderful husband, a loving father, and a cherished “Pawpaw” who left behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and love. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Darlene Moore of Vidor, TX; his son Joseph Moore of Houston, TX; his daughter Mona Malone of Pasadena, TX; and his brothers Arthur Moore and Carl Moore. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren, along with eight great-grandchildren.
