Marquis Amari Johnson, 16, of Beaumont, passed away on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, at his home. Though a resident of Beaumont, Marquis was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX, where he cultivated his love for life and those around him. With a big heart and a caring nature, Marquis was always putting others before himself, whether through small acts of kindness or by simply being there to lift someone’s spirits. Marquis is survived by his loving mother, Janie Chambers of Beaumont, TX, and his siblings, Aydin Osborne, Kimani Johnson, and Chahinez Osborne. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Texas Children’s Hospital, HCT Hospice, and Heartbeats of Hope for their constant support and care during Marquis’s journey.
