Thomas Harold Parks, affectionately known as “Harold,” passed away peacefully on Friday, January 10th, 2025, at the age of 72 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, surrounded by his loving family. A longtime resident of Vidor, Harold was a cherished member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Harold served his country honorably, retiring from the U.S. Army in 1992 after 20 years of dedicated service. Following his military career, he brought his leadership skills to The Stark Foundation, where he worked his way up to Chief of Security. Harold is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Elizabeth Parks of Vidor, TX; his children Brian Thomas Parks of Baton Rouge, LA, Ronnie James Parks of Tyler, TX, Wesley Ray Parks of Tyler, TX, and Victoria D’Ann Landry of Vidor, TX; and his 4 cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his first wife and mother of Brian, Shirley Lee Davis, and her husband Donald of Baton Rouge, LA.
