Chester “Chet” David Williams, age 90, of Mauriceville, Texas, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, January 4th, 2025. Chet began his career at Good Year Tire and Rubber in Beaumont and later retired from Betz Laboratories, where his expertise and work ethic left a lasting impression. Beyond his professional life, Chet had a deep love for raising horses, a passion that brought him great joy and countless cherished memories. Chet is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Carolyn Williams of Mauriceville, TX; his children Rhonda Hoffman of Houston, TX, Kyle Williams of Montgomery, TX, and Devra Helffrich of Dallas, TX; and his brother Ronnie Williams of Flower Mound, TX. He also leaves behind four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and happiness.
