Mary Helen Yellott, 68, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 8th, 2024, at Houston Methodist Hospital. A devoted 44-year resident of Vidor, Mary Helen was known for her warmth, dedication, and unwavering love for her family and faith. Mary Helen co-owned and served as secretary for Yellott Roofing alongside her beloved husband, Alan. Her life was marked by her deep love for music, a passion she shared widely, finding joy in everything from classic hymns to contemporary tunes. Mary Helen is survived by her husband of 48 years, Alan Yellott Sr. of Vidor, TX; her children, Connie Jo Varela-Fontenot of Kountze, TX, and Alan G. Yellott Jr. of Vidor, TX. She also leaves behind two sisters, Ophelia Fountain of Las Vegas, NV, and Carmen Carrillo of Houston, TX, and one cherished grandson, Jaxon Ammon Yellott of Vidor, TX, who brought a special light to her life.
