Frederick “Fred” Hall, 85, of Vidor, Texas, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Born in Allock, Kentucky, Fred made his home in Vidor for many years, where he was cherished by his family, friends, and community. A proud veteran, Fred served his country with honor in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he continued his dedication to public service with a long career at the U.S. Post Office before retiring. He cherished every moment spent with his family, making memories that will live on in the hearts of those he loved. Fred is survived by his children, John Hall of San Antonio, TX, and Valerie Hare of Vidor, TX; his brother, Glennis Hall of Knoxville, TX; and his nieces, Kelle Woods and Gina Slusser of Georgia.
