Cameron Lee Powell, a beloved member of his family and community, passed away on October 3, 2024, in Port Arthur, Texas. He was born on August 18, 1988, in Galveston, Texas, and raised in a supportive environment that shaped his character and passions. As an avid bow maker, he embraced the creativity and skill involved in crafting the perfect tool for his hunting adventures. Cameron’s world ultimately revolved around his cherished son, Garrett, and his love for family and friends defined much of who he was. Among his numerous proud accomplishments were his roles as a husband and father. Cameron is survived by his loving wife, Loren Lindsey, and their son, Garrett Powell. He is also mourned by his father, Gary Powell; his mother, Melanie Powell; and his brothers, Joseph Powell, Michael Powell, and Ben Powell. He leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will deeply miss his spirit and warmth.
