Marilyn Smith Tidwell born October 24, 1949, in Beaumont, Texas walked into the arms of Jesus on September 29, 2024. We remember a true woman of God and a beacon of light who left behind a legacy of warmth and kindness. Marilyn walked through life with a gentle strength, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with unforgettable grace. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with her innermost being and dedicated her life to him. She was a flawless example of a wife, mother, Granna and so many other titles. Her absence will be felt. She is survived by her brother James Smith, brother Dalton Smith, sister LaJuanna. Son Michael Aaron Tidwell. Daughter Wynde Longbottom & husband Marty. Son Michael Caleb Tidwell, and 5 grandsons. Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor located at 1750 Hwy 12 Vidor, TX 77662. 1:00-2:00 visitation then service at 2:00.
