Lynda Lea Parker, 82, of Vidor, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 30th, 2024. A longtime resident of Vidor, Lynda was a dedicated member of Maplecrest Baptist Church. She had a deep passion for genealogy and was actively involved as the registrar of the San Jacinto Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. These pursuits were only surpassed by her love for her family. Lynda is survived by her devoted husband, Bobby Parker Sr. of Vidor, TX; her children, Bobby Parker Jr. of Vidor, TX, Clifton Parker of Orange, TX, Traci Parker Barrientos of Katy, TX, Eric Parker of Lufkin, TX, and Ryan Parker of Vidor, TX. She also leaves behind her siblings, Noelle Conway of Comanche, TX, Roseanne Laurents of Bandera, TX, Donna Steinbomber of Georgetown, TX, and Audrey Turner of Port Arthur, TX; as well as eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
