Samantha “Sammy” Lee Townsend, 30, of Vidor, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, in Vidor. A lifetime resident of Vidor, Sam was a vibrant and dynamic member of the community, known for her many talents and passions. Despite her numerous accomplishments, Sam’s greatest achievement was her beloved daughter, Maya Andrea Townsend, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Sam is survived by her mother, Donna Wyatt and of Vidor, TX; her father, Alvin Lee Townsend of Vidor, TX; her daughter, Maya Andrea Townsend of Vidor, TX, and her stepdad Gregory Wyatt; her sister, Patricia Morales of Vidor, TX; her brothers, Ranson Gibson of Panama City Beach, TX, and Kameron Gibson of Vidor, TX; and her sister, Malorie Gibson of Beaumont, TX. She is also survived by her grandmother Lucy Townsend of Point Blank, TX, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
